I've seen a talk by someone from Suse. He had a two part sentence.
The first part was: btrfs is good and stable (paraphrasing)
The second part was: when used with a single device
So that means something like RAID1 on 2 disks is a still a bad idea.
The way CoreOS ends up using btrfs is also on single devices I believe.
