Operating systems: BeOS was written in C++. Genode[0] appears to be written in C++ too. (I'm pretty sure there are quite a few more, but that'll do as an existence proof.)

[0] Granted, that's an "operating system framework", but it's definitely at the same "level" as implementing an OS.
