Is it? I've switched between iPhone and Android and I've never noticed it. OS lag, yes - but Android has improved on that a lot in recent years.

Touch latency is consistent across every application, in all load conditions. OS latency varies.

I find the lag noticable and annoying when dragging something, e.g. scrolling a web page.
