I am starting a UK webstartup with three directors: myself, my current business partner and a hacker (share is 40:40:20). At the moment we are getting quotes for the legal documents required for the limited company and it seems we can't get anything for less than £2000+VAT.

I wondered if anyone had any advice on this.

I'm not sure if we need to be looking for quality and sacrifice cash, or vice-versa. Or indeed if there is any cheaper way of preparing the documents we need.
