If two planets of that size crashed what would be left is an asteroid belt, not a moon

There is a theory that moon was constructed from Thea planet impact with young Earth. Thats a simulation of that episode of Solar system:)

spent 10 minutes watching and playing with. works in chrome. have issues in safari.
