For some context Panda3D is pretty cool because it has a long history going back into the 90s and besides being used for visualization at Disney Themeparks and some 3D movie rides Disney also used it to create their ToonTown Online and
Pirates of the Caribbean Online MMOs. For a while it was used at Carnegie Mellon University in their interactive degree and became open source during that.
It's a pretty flexible framework (due to being unopinionated) that can be used with both C++ and Python (there are Nim bindings in the works). It's also super lightweight due to being designed for running on early 2000s consumer computers.
