Every new thing gets hyped up as the "killer" of existing businesses.

Siri, Alexa, etc. were all supposed to be existential threats to Google's search, and then they weren't


I’m surprised no one has connected ChatGPT to a voice interface?

The way it holds conversational context is really leaps and bounds better than Alexa/Siri


No one at any point thought that voice interaction would be dominant.
