Intel discontinues pathfinder for RISC-V program
Along this line, I find their cancellation of the Oregon lab and Haifa dev center to be concerning. Sure, in the short term that stuff eats money. In the long term it means you stay relevant.

They haven't cancelled any of their significant capex spending - leading edge fabs in Ohio and Germany.
