I have been working as a software engineer in the healthcare technology space for just over 1 year.
A few tasks I've accomplished in my current role: Implemented voice features in React apps, Dockerized applications, setup VMs on AWS & configure NGINX, developed a Python backend to extract clinical entities from text and summarize conversational text using Large Language Models (GPT-J, GPT-3 & macaw).
B.Eng in Biomedical Engineering. Decided to move into programming during the pandemic. I've always tinkered with computers/electronics and have previously written software as a hobby, for school projects and my coop.
I'm looking for a full-time Junior Software Engineering role. I'm also open to internship offers. I'm eager to learn, take on challenges and expand my skillset.
