Honestly this sounds like a good way of learning how to share and market your side project:

1. build something super simple(e.g. a colour scheme, mini-app, toy*) so you're less tempted to yak-shave, and then

2. use most of your energy on getting the thing out (marketing, community, ads, etc...)

* proper colour scheme creation is far from trivial, I know



I feel like this recipe exists a lot about the current state of the internet. As in its terrible current state.
