> Good Smile also produces figurines depicting underage anime girls in various states of undress.

> 4chan's incel board, /r9k/

Jesus, what a wild hit piece. To be clear, I don't condone racism or violence, but we live in a world where people are organizing attempted coups and live streaming massacres on Facebook and we're still pretending 4chan is the problem? You could legitimately find-and-replace '4chan' with 'Reddit' in this article and many of the most controversial statements would still be true!

Violence, racism, etc. on 4chan is a symptom, not a cause.

Well it's not surprising considering /pol/ is the most popular board on the entire site. That means pol is 4chan. Containment board my ass, that's why half the people are there in the first place, Nazi first and hobbyist second. It seeps everywhere. They can't even talk about something as benign as food or cars without inevitably devolving into some insane frothing at the mouth rant over the slightest unrelated disagreements.

It's not a hit piece, 4chan is just really low hanging fruit.

My best guess would be Satan, but he most likely uses an earthly representative for privacy.

Samael, The Lightbringer? [1] He might use it as a window into human behavior. Is 4chan a good representation of our darker side? Or human fear and insecurity? Schadenfreude?

> Website analytics firm Similarweb estimates that both 4chan and 4channel are still within the 1,000 most popular websites in the world.

Would never have guessed.

This is just using a tragic event to try and attack free speech.
