Netflix alters culture memo to stress the importance of artistic freedom (npr.org)

Sounds common sense to me. It’s sad that the woke are so rampant in the US that a company needs to codify common sense into its culture:

We program for a diversity of audiences and tastes," the statement reads. "And we let viewers decide what's appropriate for them, versus having Netflix censor specific artists or voices. "

The memo goes on to say that employees may have to work on content that they "perceive as harmful," warning that if this is difficult for them to accomplish, "Netflix may not be the best place for you."

Expect a dewokening in this decade as companies realize they can’t run a business while ceaselessly bending the knee to a bottomless pit of demands.

DenaZifying and dewokening. And the end of globalization. Finally good news.

Denazifying? At least in the US, there's not much to denazify. I've never had to sit through corporate pro-nazi trainings or deal with neo Nazi coworkers who might get me fired if they find out how much I dislike nazis

We can only hope.

Labor movement could benefit as well from such a change. Union leaders now push woke agendas which scare away potential members. It creates division and distracts from the real rich vs. poor battle to reduce income inequality
