Lions mane isn't psychedelic, but it's noticably psychoactive. Similar to caffeine in effect, intensity and duration without the jitters or sleep disturbance.
I've never heard of it having any stimulating effects; indeed, I've heard it can be helpful with sleep. Are you able to point to supporting information?
In my last comment I was speaking from experience too - I tried taking it for 3 months, and never noticed any effects whatsoever.
