Packaging gtk for systems other than Linux can be a bit of a nightmare, and the experience on platforms other than Linux and desktop BSD leaves a lot to be desired.

RAD tooling, not having to type Rc<RefCell<>> and clone everywhere (their samples even have a macro for it), or adding yet another library layer with relm.

As a casual passer-by, I'd also like to know the trade-offs
