It's really TSMC doing the advancing and AMD (and pretty much everyone else in the world aside from Samsung) just along for the ride!

I just started reading more about the real differences between intel 14nm and TSMC 7 and found this article comparing the actual sizes of the transistors.

Interesting how similar they actually are, though TSMC 7nm clearly smaller. Not by as much as the numbers would suggest.
