Currently, you can only see the net total of upvotes and downvotes your comment gets.

Displayed total = (upvotes - downvotes) + 1 (Since a comment starts at +1)

  100 up, 100 down = +1
  1   up,   1 down = +1
  0   up,   0 down = +1

or

  5  up,  0 down  = +6
  10 up,  5 down  = +6
  10 up, 17 down  = -6
  0  up,  7 down  = -6

Would it be helpful to see if a comment engages a lot of people? Or how polarizing it is? Or if the comment is completely unseen and ignored?
