You must have a lot of expensive stuff crammed into your config.fish file, for me fish takes < 1 second to init.



A config.fish consisting of the line 'alias a=echo' repeated 200 times takes 3 seconds to start. No config file starts out in 50 ms. So my 200 aliases seem to be the culprit here. And to be fair my init time is actually a bit over 2 seconds.


Can you remember 200 aliases?
