The tree-view is practical for users but seems impractical for relational database performance.
SELECT * FROM files p

It seems like someone with an immigration background should have to go through an on-boarding period where a new arrival takes part in community service and is immersed with civic-minded people and good citizens rather than just heading straight for the slums to fend for themselves and live among the sorts of people who will be a bad influence on them.
People who have the disposable income to buy $8,000 personal robotic assistants or $20,000 1X Neo are a lot more likely to live in larger spaces. I've got about 1,000 sqft per occupant in my home. Plenty of room for a C-3PO or Johnny 5.
Perhaps that's how aliens would see humans. Perpetually trying to die except for a small group of humans fighting disease, monitoring and protecting climate, keeping order, etc.
