I've said this for years but most people probably don't watch more than 2 streamers / month every month. Pay for one month at a time and be pleasantly surprised at how many months you don't pay for 1 or more that you're paying for now.
Made me think, is there an opportunity to build a management layer for this? Handle subscribing and cancelling automatically when you want to watch certain things? Would probably be blocked pretty fast but amusing to think about.
In a hilarious turn of events the senate has passed a funding bill with the DHS bill separated out since this comment.
I don’t know if this means zero DHS funding until the piecemeal bill passes or something less dramatic but I fully expect they will break all previous records for funding DHS shortly after.
And a long line for shuttles to the hotel and a long line to check in at the hotel. Last time I got that dubious compensation, I gave up waiting and walked across the street to another hotel. I saw other people from my flight do the same, so I guess the airlines really save some money on the inconvenience.

The highest minimum injury coverage states in the US are still like $50k per person meaning complying with insurance law still leaves the most seriously injured victims (or their medical insurer) in the hole unless the at fault driver (if applicable) can pay.
Yes, this. I got 50k and will never be made whole for my acute or lifelong pain.
I had an ace attorney who told me there were no assets to recover beyond the insurance settlement at the minimum limit provided.
My health insurer at the time later tried to take the settlement from me via predatory collections tactics, and I was only able to keep it due to California state laws that protected me if I wasn't made whole (I wasn't hit there but am a citizen of the state).
Most accidents are caused by folks on the lower end of the SES spectrum so a very large number of victims end up like me.
You also don't hear that much of our stories because the dead and the maimed often tell no tales / it's unpleasant to hear. Many settlements also require silence.
The “opposition” has never not funded ICE. Throwing out national level republicans is not enough, almost all national level democrats have to be thrown out too.
The current administration’s ICE chaos theater is clearly something very different than the past few administrations. Let’s not try to pretend this is normal, because it’s not. They’re doing a shock and awe campaign and maximum fear and news coverage are part of the new agenda.
