August Health | Senior+ Frontend Software Engineers | Remote, USA | Full Time | https://www.augusthealth.com We're a growth-stage (Series A in 2022) company that builds technology to enhance the quality of care for vulnerable older adults. Our product is guiding the transition from complex, paper-based practices in the long-term care industry to a digital platform solution that unlocks the power of personalized care, predictive analytics, and value-based contracting.

Technologically, the frontend is TypeScript & React. Our frontend is a major differentiator - our users tend to be less tech-inclined, so ease of use is a business imperative. We also have a service-worker powered offline web app and plan to build another in short order.

Please reach out to me (Sid / Dir. Eng.) at sid [at] augusthealth.com

I'm (slightly) biased, but wanted to mention that Sid is an exceptional engineer, manager, and a pleasure to work with.

TrialScope | Remote (ET) or Jersey City, NJ | Full Time | Backend & web frontend

TrialScope is hiring a mid-level (or higher) developer familiar with TypeScript/React and one of: C#/.NET or Ruby/Rails. The role is fully remote, working roughly eastern time, with the option of working from our Jersey City, NJ headquarters.

The role is for a team whose software aids clinical trial recruitment, allowing trial sponsors to recruit quickly. Our hope is that this will allow pharmaceutical companies to bring high quality drugs to market faster than they can currently.

We’re a small team (4 full-time across product/eng) inside of a larger, established company. We would love to hire someone who is interested in contributing to the product & culture, as well as the engineering efforts. The interviewing process is practical, with no algorithms, trivia, or whiteboards involved.

You can apply by emailing me (in profile) or: https://apply.workable.com/trialscope/j/7148F84966/

We've been working on something similar at thoughtbot - https://github.com/thoughtbot/Swish

For more than just Ruby, as well: https://houndci.com/

For Ruby Hound is using RuboCop under the hood, but still it is interesting the way it automatically integrates with GitHub to check pull requests.

One thing to note when using HoundCI, the defaults have been configured to ThoughtBot's style, slightly straying away from the 'defaults' that RuboCop has.
