I don't think third parties even really try to organize and do the boring work of proving themselves in local/state office.

They are just spoilers; you don't see the Libertarians or Greens saying "you know what, forget the presidency, obviously we aren't going to win--let's field candidates for like mayor, city council, DA, state legislature, etc. in really swingy/purple districts and show people what we can do"

Yep, the pure delusional thinking required to seriously run for the presidency when they don't have a single elected federal position anywhere. It's beyond absurd.

Don't some big hedge funds/finance players also have such cables?

Maybe, but these days, I believe microwave towers are preferred, lower latency and shorter paths. https://www.rec-usa.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/High-Freq...

And far less bandwidth. Microwave is used for ultr-low latency trading. But most financials ride subsea cables like everyone else.

God damn it, I clicked it as soon as I saw "cats", but it has nothing to do with cats :|

> Learning Investment: Deepening expertise in a language with growing demand, potentially opening future opportunities.

If it's just you, then that reason alone justifies it.

Yes, it's just me right now. I'm moonlighting after my day job and bringing my kid to bed.

Came here to post this. We use Django Ninja at work (basically FastAPI style endpoints for Django), and it automatically does OpenAPI and Swagger docs for us. Whatever web framework one chooses in whichver language should def have this built-in by now, IMO, seems like tablestakes for anything larger than a "micro-framework"

Def interested in something that solves this problem; def not interested in logging in just to try it.

There’s a demo video if you’d rather check that out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XL5pOFjY7Pg
