I found this[1], which summarizes nicely. Basically, they are almost equally as bad for your liver, and that was with one of them taking 21 shots of vodka[2] once a week, which left him insensible, and actually in a dangerous medical state.
I think the inscription's aim might have been to stress that this is ship's bell as opposed to a Temple's bell, etc. I am a Native tamil speaker and there are quite a few "bell" words in Tamil
I came here to say exactly the same thing. The article completely omits Cambridge/Boston, which IMO belongs in the same league as SF if not a notch a higher.
Thanks for the suggestion! We have currently outsourced to someone but I am afraid they wont be able to handle our scale soon. I am currently reviewing zenefits and Zenpayroll, but thought will be worthwhile to understand the details before making a decision.
Zenpayroll can handle pretty significant size, but if you are concerned and want more proven capability and scale you can always use a company like ADP or PayChex. They handle payroll for some of the largest US companies, and they can handle filing the payroll statements in all states, and the IRS quarterly forms and taxes etc. Plus they have teams that help with the benefits management and open enrollment periods etc.
If you are < 300 people though, I'd say Zenpayroll or any of those comparable services would likely be sufficient, at least for most common situations. Also, just an FYI, I brought ADP into a company about 10 years ago and we did some integration to them to automate timecard submittal etc. but anyway, ADP really wasn't that expensive in the end, for ~300 person company we were paying like $40-$45k/year for benefits and payroll management. IMO that is cheap, as all we had to do is make sure the hours and benefit enrollments were validated and submitted on time.
Actual outcomes need to be weighed against counterfactuals, and I think the claim that the alternative would have been worse in Cheney's case - while I dispute it - is better than in the other.
I understand you were not being definitive and I doubt very much that people would disagree that Cheney is a better person than that rapist given the same ability to effect the world.
Having said that Cheney had a lot of power and a lot of impact. In relative terms the alternative to Cheney in power does not need to be much better to result in an absolute impact greater than the 4 lives affected by that rapist.
My statement was meant to point out that the absolute rather than the relative "evilness" of him is a viable reason for some to hate him.
I come from India, thrice more populous than US, things like these rarely happen there. Please don't blame it on a singular aspect. A lot of things are in play here,to name a few
1. Easy availability of guns
2. Lack of a family based society. In my opinion, insanity gets aggravated by loneliness
We (PRX) haven't seen any evidence to show that it is still an issue in iOS 6.0.1, so you should be all set if you've upgraded, or an upgrade should fix it. If you are upgrade already and seeing overuse, please comment.
