When I was in middle school I remember a friend lieing that there is “a mobile app to create mobile apps”. I thought it’s an amazing idea, but it was way too early. I love how this hallucination became a reality. Good luck!
Fun language fact: "daka" is hebrew for "minute" but it's literal meaning is
"thin one" figurative being "the thin (shorter) time measure" in contradiction with an hour ("sha'aa")
Fascinating, "dakika" is "minute" in Swahili...probably similar in Arabic as well...yup, Google AI says "daqiqa" for the Latin alphabet version of minute in Arabic.
There's often more overlap with plain old Prosperity Gospel Protestantism than many people realise - especially in the sense that the definition of success is likely to be narrow, material, and individual.
There's usually a lot more "I'm entitled to love and money and I will wish them into existence for me personally" than "I think everyone should have good affordable public healthcare, so I will work hard towards making that happen."
I’m not from the US, but from my visits there and continuous reading of the living conditions in America this comment seems painfully true. As someone living in Israel I’m grateful we don’t live in those extremes.
The cursor for sales: a co-pilot for founders who sale or AEs that analyses all the channels the sale happens in (email, meeting minutes, LinkedIn, slack etc) and able to take actions like writing followups or detecting hot leads. Helpful for startups who feel pain in their mid-funnel. https://closer.so
This is awesome! We recently started using Xander (https://xander.bot). We've found it's even better to assign PMs to Xander on Linear comments and get a PR. Then, the PM can validate the implementation in a preview environment, and engineers (or another AI) can review the code.
I'm using https://xander.bot, which already leverages MCP connection between Claude Code and Linear. Really awesome stuff, how it knows how to gather context from Linear.
