Commercially available electromagnets are too bulky, require too much power and are designed with generally physically unworkable assumptions around electrical interface types with respect to cost-effective manufacturing. In short the principle is sound, but the products are unworkable. Therefore, the coils must be integrated on-PCB to be cost effective.
Blender is also managed exceptionally well for a FOSS project, systematically polishing up rough edges and paying close attention to the needs and desires of its userbase which no doubt inspires larger donations from more donors than FOSS projects usually have.
Small nitpick: AIUI it is possible to sell binaries of a GPLv2 program, provided you keep providing source for free. (I think; IANAL, there's maybe some caveat about exactly when you have to give source and to who.) That can actually work if your users don't want to compile stuff themselves.
In theory. Show me one example (not service or support, but selling actual software). You have a better chance of winning a lottery, happens every day.
In theory, I can just walk through solid wall, using a quantum tunneling effect.
The closes thing you will find are things like blender release under GPL (i.e. pay me a money to release my commercial software under GPL, but that's not selling GPL software),
What about the coorelation of higher probability of narcissistic traits among people interested in astrology? There are few studies about this. Maybe modern society harbors values that invite such narrative to emerge and so we see increase in interests that reflect this?
Hey, the choice was between transit.js and velocity.js. I don't think we made the wrong choice to go with transit.js, but next time we will definitely try velocity.js :D
I'd say you being an introvert is not the case. It seems you have social axiety, and it's possibe to cure it by yourself. There are some guides in internet how to do it, but to put it simple(and this worked for me like a charm) - you have to get out of your comfort zone. push yourself to do things you would never normally do in public. it's not easy to do this, but after about a month you can just feel this CLICK. its really life changing. you just have to keep doing it, no matter how awkward it gets.
and dont think about things, like having no car or not speaking perfectly english. there are people who dont judge others by this stuff. and if they do, you dont wanna meet them :D
