Not that I know of. It is a bit weird that for me it shows the same posts in my normal container with uBO enabled, and in a new container with uBO disabled: no sponsored ones. But when visiting facebook.com straight away I do get ads/sponsored posts. Probably I did go over all FB settings once to disable everything possible. Perhaps it's that.

What do you do when "voting with your wallet" makes you unhappy?

I'm not here to bash Linux, Android, Apple, or Windows. I like windows (10 at least) better than OSX or any distro for desktop use. I like iPhone better than Android.

Voting with my wallet just means I'm not as happy as what I currently have chosen.

Because street photography is very spontaneous it’s pretty common practice to set an aperture of 8 and just snap away - it’s a helpful trick for rangefinder cameras that often take some time to pull focus.

Its cheating because you don't have to think about focusing your lens. At f/8 you have a reasonable hyper-local distance, and so for instance everything from 2m to infinity is sufficiently sharp.

This kind of advice was given before the advent of good enough autofocus where indeed you've rely on the machine to focus your imagine. But at the same time you delegate the choice of the subject to the machine instead of spontaneously capturing "everything".

Hyperfocal. Not hyper-local.

Small F/ number = high-aperture.

A password manager can both take care of remembering unique passwords and allow privacy options

Hard to convince users that they need to be using a password manager if you run a SaaS. Also when things like LastPASS getting hacked are on the front page... imagine advising people to use that one! (I'm guilty of recommending LastPASS many years ago, before their first breach).

Good luck getting people to use one! Even when they do, the UX is a nightmare.

This is very bizarre to me. I never once thought about a chair as a child. _If_ you got tired you just took a seat anywhere or just laid down.

An empty lawn was the perfect place to play any number of things. Even better was when 2 empty backyard lawns connected and there wasn't much/any landscaping for some really big activities.

There's a difference between picking a car out of a lineup to play in a game and taking (a lot of) money to buy a Ferrari.
