IDK why this surprises anyone. I applied to expand my HELOC last month with my credit union.

TransUnion sold my info to every mortgage company out there and I guarantee you I got 100+ calls and text messages from companies I've never heard of asking me to apply with them.

They just sell any and all of our data over and over again.

Can't opt out and can't stop it. 100s of calls to my cell phone.

Kids in your 40s are tough. I have a 21yr old and a 4yr old. I couldn't imagine having a new born today but several do.

Life is what you make it. Find something that makes you happy and the rest falls in to place in my experience.

Also therapy is very wise here. They can'tfix your issues but they help give you the tools to do it yourself which I found huge.

Good luck and if you have or can create a group of friends around you, it helps a lot as well.

I have paid for Adobe CC for years now, since they started subscriptions. As much as I hate shelling out $29.99 a month for something I use maybe 5 times a month, it always just worked for me. I've started looking at alternatives, but it's hard to spend the time learning the new product vs just spending the $30 a month. I think they've tried to raise mine several times. If I can ever not renew at $29.99, I will probably prioritize finding the time to try other stuff.
